The Campus, and How It Is Organised
Learning Lions is a non-profit that trains young adults from rural and refugee communities in Turkana County, northern Kenya, for digital work, on a residential ICT campus beside Lake Turkana near Loropio, in the Lodwar area. One integrated organisation runs it across several legal bodies: Learning Lions owns the ICT Center and the training, Startup Lions Assets Kenya holds the campus lease and runs campus services, and Lions Strength runs the community programmes and supports the girls' secondary school next door. A board of co-founders, directors and advisors sets direction, two directors run the operation, two domain boards coordinate the campus and the community work, and an independent committee watches over safeguarding, gender and quality. These pages tell a new staff member how that fits together and where to go.

1The Campus
What the campus is, where it is, who owns what, and the words we use.
2The Structure
The boards, the two directors, the departments and their teams, and who reports to whom.
3The SGB Board
The Strategy and Governance Board. What it is, who sits on it by role, what it decides and how often it meets.
4The Committees
The Safeguarding, Gender and Quality Committee, known on campus as the Gender and Welfare Committee, its two subcommittees, and the smaller committees formed as needed.
5The Campus Functions
ICT and the SAs, welfare, training, administration, Asha, the kitchen, housing and the other campus services, and where each one sits.
6The Hub and This Site
Two sites, one organisation. The Hub is the learning side; this site is the campus side, and will become the main site with the hub hanging off it.
Two Sites
This site is the campus side: who does what, who decides what, and where to go. The Hub is the learning side: the training material, one page per session, with the prompts, the submit form and the staff sections. How they relate.
